Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Childcare Support Specialists to join our team at Elite Employment. You will be working closely with children in a residential setting who are facing emotional and behavioral challenges, often stemming from trauma and family crises.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing trusting relationships with the children
  • Engaging in discussions to help them articulate their issues and understand their behavior
  • Exhibiting emotional resilience while managing challenging behaviors
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of the young individuals
  • Creating and maintaining a structured routine tailored to each child's unique needs
  • Fostering a supportive living environment
  • Carrying out general household responsibilities
  • Documenting daily activities and observations
  • Communicating any concerns regarding the children to the Supervisor or Registered Manager
  • Providing effective supervision and maintaining a positive level of control while planning age-appropriate activities
  • Establishing and upholding appropriate boundaries and relationships with the children
  • A Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Health & Social Care (Caring for Children and Young People) is preferred

Compensation:
Competitive salary ranging from £24,500 to £26,000 per annum, based on experience.

Work Schedule:
This role requires commitment for 3 days a week, including some weekends and 2 sleep-in shifts.
