Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Front of House Duty Manager to join our strong and united team at KPHR Solutions. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the front of house team to provide relaxed yet highly professional levels of service in a busy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key holding, opening and closing of the restaurant and hotel
  • Shift leading and running a team of staff alongside fellow duty managers and senior management team
  • Preparation for start of service and close down of shifts
  • Rota management
  • Liaising with kitchen to ensure smooth service
  • Cash handling
  • Weekly meeting and reporting with general manager and managing director for feedback on the weeks service
  • Checking in hotel guests and ensuring the efficient welcome for their stay

Requirements:

  • Hotel and/or restaurant management or supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility – Working different shift patterns on different days of the week including the weekends, mornings, or evenings
  • Confidence with systems and taking payments
  • To be able to work well under pressure and multi task in a busy environment
  • Hospitality qualification is preferred but not essential
  • Able to motivate the team to do their best and offer exceptional service levels
