About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Non-Medical Prescriber to join our dynamic team at Inclusion, a leading provider of substance use services across England. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical interventions to individuals affected by substance use issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of service users to determine appropriate treatment plans, including prescribing for opioid use disorder and alcohol detoxification and relapse prevention.
- Prescribe and review medications in accordance with best practice guidelines.
- Provide health and wellbeing interventions, offering guidance and support tailored to individual needs.
- Facilitate blood-borne virus screening and vaccinations, contributing to the overall health improvement of service users and communities.
- Contribute to the review of serious incident investigations, providing expertise and insights to enhance learning and improve practice.
Person Specification
- Independent Non-Medical Prescriber qualification and registration with the relevant professional body.
- Nursing or Pharmacist qualification and registration with the NMC or GPC, or relevant allied Health professional qualification registered with that professional body.
- Experience of working as an Independent NMP within a drug and alcohol service.
- Evidence of working effectively at a senior level in a multi-disciplinary health and social care setting.
