Support Worker

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with social and emotional needs related to Autism, ADHD, or Trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children to have the best quality of life possible, including activities such as baking, fun days out, and holidays.
- Ensure the children's safety and well-being by monitoring their development and keeping records up to date.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, their families, and other professionals.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Patience, compassion, and resilience to work with children who may have experienced trauma.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with children, families, and colleagues.
- A driving license to transport children to activities and appointments.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins, to meet the needs of the children.
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge in residential childcare.
