About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our catering team at Langford View, a specialist residential and nursing care home. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals for our residents, taking into account their individual nutritional needs and preferences.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with our residents, their families, and other colleagues to ensure that every meal is a positive experience. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, managing kitchen resources, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience of working in a professional kitchen, catering for specialist diets, and providing meals for large groups of people. You will also need to hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and be working towards a Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking or equivalent.
You will be a confident communicator, able to engage with our residents and their families to understand their individual needs and preferences. You will also be a team player, able to work collaboratively with other colleagues to achieve our goals.
