Maintenance Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Jobwise Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our recreational facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the overall management of plant and equipment, including maintenance and repair of generators, HVAC equipment, and other facilities systems.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in the development and implementation of planned preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ensure day-to-day operational efficiency of all plant and equipment, including routine checks and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance programs.
  • Ensure the correct storage and control of consumable materials, equipment, and services in accordance with company procedures.
  • Comply with method statements and safe working practices at all times.
  • Ensure resources are used efficiently and tasks are completed within given timescales.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Assistant who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.
