We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Jobwise Ltd. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the overall management of plant and equipment of our facilities and general upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planned preventative maintenance programmes for the facilities.
  • Ensure day to day operational efficiency of all plant and equipment (e.g. generators, HVAC equipment, etc).
  • Assist on a match/event day to ensure services and facilities operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
  • Assist with the preparation, implementation and monitoring of weekly, monthly and annual maintenance programmes.
  • Ensure the correct storage and control of all consumable materials, equipment and services in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Ensure that all method statements and safe working practices are complied with.
  • Ensure that resources are used efficiently.
  • Ensure standards of work are maintained and tasks are completed within the given timescales.

Requirements:

  • Experience of both mechanical and electrical maintenance (as well as tasks like joinery, fixing a door, fixing a toilet) in a similar maintenance role.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience of PPM maintenance would be beneficial.
  • Awareness of relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Formal trade qualification.
  • First Aid at Work Certificate.
  • Manual Handling training.
  • A full valid driving license.
