Restaurant General Manager Job Description
**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at COSMO Restaurant Group. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of our restaurant, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Achieve exceptional performance in all aspects of restaurant operations, including food quality, customer service, and financial management.
* Develop and implement effective succession planning to ensure a smooth transition of leadership roles.
* Make strategic decisions that impact the success of the business, driving revenue growth and profitability.
* Manage food costs, labor costs, and wastage to ensure they are within company parameters.
* Create a positive and productive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
* Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
* Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and drive sales growth.
* Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and drive company growth.
**Requirements**
* Solid experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a similar environment.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, making decisions under pressure.
* High level of enthusiasm and energy to inspire and motivate the team.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
* Willingness to work overtime when needed and assist the workload of others.
* Ambitious and open to continual development and learning.
**Desirable Qualifications**
* Health and Safety Level 2 certification.
* First Aid certification.
* Fire Marshall/Warden certification.
* Personal Licence.
