Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analysis Officer to join our team. As a Data Analysis Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and regulating marine traffic, operating and monitoring equipment for communications, data collection, and data analysis. You will also respond to marine incidents and initiate/implement emergency procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and regulate marine traffic to ensure compliance with all local, national, and international regulations.
- Operate and monitor equipment for communications, data collection, and data analysis.
- Respond to marine incidents and initiate/implement emergency procedures.
- Provide support to the Shipping Coordinators as required by VTS operational procedures.
- Undertake/facilitate technical and professional training as required.
- STCW certificate of competency
- VTS C0103-1 or VTS Module 4 certificate
- Ability to complete a VTS Local Knowledge Endorsement
