Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our school kitchen, ensuring the provision of high-quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and serving of meals to students
  • Manage kitchen staff and ensure they are trained and equipped to provide excellent service
  • Implement and maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards
  • Conduct stock takes and ordering products via the online portal
  • Perform duties as directed by the Area Manager

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, and the ability to implement and maintain strict standards
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
