Chef de Partie Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at CRC Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the running of the kitchen and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant in accordance with the hotel's standards and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Organise and set up the assigned section of the kitchen as efficiently as possible to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes to the highest standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas and concepts.
- Work closely with the head chef and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
