About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. As a Principal Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our psychological provision and developing psychological knowledge and skills across our workforce.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality, innovative practice and a commitment to ensuring the child's voice is central to our work. You will work closely with our Consultant Psychologist to develop and implement psychological therapies and assessment methodologies, and provide complex multi-media materials for presentations in public, professional, and academic settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead psychological therapies and assessment methodologies
  • Provide complex multi-media materials for presentations
  • Work closely with the Consultant Psychologist to ensure the quality of our psychological provision
  • Develop and implement service development initiatives
  • Provide support to carers and staff exposed to highly distressing situations
Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with:

  • Post-Graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology
  • Registration with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner (Clinical) Psychologist
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity
  • Experience of taking a lead psychology role and holding responsibility for service development initiatives
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £58,972 to £68,525 per annum, based on full-time hours. We are happy to discuss flexible working options as part of the interview process.
