About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our MASH team at the London Borough of Hillingdon. As a key member of our Children's Social Care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload under supervision, accepting referrals and conducting interviews.
  • Assess issues, identify objectives, and implement effective solutions through a range of social work models and techniques.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and families.
  • Supervise and support junior social workers, providing guidance and mentorship to help them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Contribute to team planning and decision-making, ensuring that our services are responsive to the needs of our community.
Requirements
  • Hold a social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
  • Have at least 12 months' postgraduate experience in a front-line social work role.
  • Be able to evidence a commitment to your own development since qualification.
  • Have previous experience working in a Referral and Assessment or MASH team.
