We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our MASH team at the London Borough of Hillingdon. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in managing a complex caseload, providing expert advice to colleagues and partners, and contributing to team planning and professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a varied caseload under supervision, accepting referrals and conducting interviews.
- Assess issues, identify objectives, and implement effective solutions through a range of social work models and techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partners to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
- Supervise other Social Workers, participate in court proceedings, and chair professional meetings.
- Contribute to team planning, provide professional development, and ensure compliance with the Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework at an experienced level.
- Hold a social work qualification.
- Have at least 12 months' postgraduate experience.
- Be able to evidence a commitment to your own development since qualification.
- Be registered with Social Work England.
- Have previous experience working in a front-line service, within a Referral and Assessment or MASH team.
