Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor Trainee

Role Overview: The primary objective of this position is to offer commercial assistance to the TSP Quantity Surveyor and Project Teams, ensuring the maintenance of commercial data and adherence to contractual obligations. Key responsibilities encompass:

  • Facilitating precise, timely cost and value reporting at both project and organizational levels.
  • Assisting in the accurate reporting of cash flow.
  • Contributing to cost management activities, including forecasting.
  • Supporting the formulation of weekly/monthly commercial strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal commercial procedures throughout the business unit.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for process and procedural enhancements.
  • Assisting in the establishment of appropriate terms and conditions, with a focus on identifying commercial risks.
  • Fostering and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Payment Applications and engaging with clients on commercial matters.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

  • Completion of 2 to 3 A levels or equivalent qualifications.
