Purchasing Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrator - Buying to join our team at Flatspot. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for managing the entire life cycle of orders, from analysis and forecasting to order submission and product listing creation.
Key Responsibilities:- Order Analysis and Forecasting: Analyze sales data and forecasts to build orders for approval, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
- Buyer Meetings: Attend buyer meetings to discuss commercial ranges, product listings, and purchase orders.
- Commercial Range Development: Create suitable commercial ranges for our eCommerce platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- E-commerce Product Listings: Generate product listings in our eCommerce platform (Shopify), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Purchase Order Management: Enter purchase orders into our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure the warehouse team has all necessary data and information.
- Supplier Liaison: Be the main point of contact within the business between the Buying Director and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and order fulfillment.
- Product Data Analysis: Analyze product data to highlight performance and recommend actions, ensuring optimal product range and stock levels.
- Marketplace Understanding: Understand our target consumer, competitors, and marketplace platforms to inform commercial range development and product listings.
- Supplier Communication: Liaise with suppliers to gather product data and order information, ensuring accurate and timely order submission.
- Order Timeliness: Ensure that all product orders are placed in a timely manner, minimizing delays and stock shortages.
- Reorder Analysis: Utilize analytics to submit reorders, ensuring all opportunities are maximized and stock levels are optimized.
- Pricing Consistency: Ensure pricing consistency across all channels, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
- Business Database Management: Keep our business database accurate and up-to-date, ensuring seamless communication and order fulfillment.
- Delivery Reconciliation: Reconcile deliveries against purchase orders and invoices, investigating any discrepancies or issues.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Perform ad hoc duties as required, ensuring the smooth operation of our buying team.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Administrator - Buying with a high level of ability and experience with Excel or similar. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate this and possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience with WMS (Peoplevox preferable)
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify preferable)
- High attention to detail
- Previous experience in fashion/skateboard retail
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Analytical experience
Our office is based at Lee Mill near Ivybridge in Devon, offering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with casual dress and tea/coffee making facilities. We offer a competitive salary of £25-32k dependent on experience, staff discount, and 29 days annual leave.
