Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Frasers Group. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our venue, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a high level of security and safety services to all individuals associated with the venue.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including the control room, to ensure the security and safety of the venue and its occupants.
- Respond to emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and security incidents.
- Monitor and maintain the venue's CCTV system, including reviewing footage and reporting any incidents or suspicious activity.
- Assist with the protection of venue property and community against crimes, trespass, and nuisance.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff and other subcontractors to provide a high standard of customer service.
- Conduct regular checks of security systems, including alarms and access control, to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Report and investigate any incidents or security breaches, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar security environment, preferably within the entertainment/leisure industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations in a confidential manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Good standard of computer literacy, including MS Office applications.
- Educated to GCSE level or above, including English and Maths.
- Experience of the correct use of security technology, including integrated CCTV and alarms.
- Fire safety awareness and First Aid at Work Certificate with AED.
- Valid SIA Door Supervision and CCTV licence.
The role will be on a rotating shift pattern, all year round on nights only, and will include public holidays and weekends. It will be a 4 on, 4 off security shift pattern (10 hours per night). Due to operational circumstances, there may be a need to move to a 24-hour coverage and this will be stated in advance.
