The Frasers Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our venue, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a highly visible and proactive security service to the venue, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to maintain the security of the venue, responding to emergencies and incidents as they arise.
- Conduct regular patrols of the grounds, lock and unlock the building, and maintain accurate records of areas accessed.
- Assume the role of Incident Controller in the event of an emergency, coordinating the response and ensuring the safety of all individuals involved.
- Monitor and maintain the venue's CCTV system, responding to alarms and incidents as necessary.
- Complete and maintain accurate records of incidents, including fire logs and security reports.
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff and other subcontractors to provide a high standard of customer service.
- 2 years of experience in a similar security environment, preferably within the entertainment or leisure industry.
- Good standard of computer literacy, including MS Office applications.
- GCSE level or above in English and Maths.
- Experience with security technology, including integrated CCTV and alarms.
- Fire safety awareness and First Aid at Work Certificate with AED.
- Valid SIA Door Supervision and CCTV licence.
The role will be on a rotating shift pattern, working nights only, including public holidays and weekends. The shift pattern will be 4 on, 4 off, with 10 hours per night. There may be a need to work additional hours as overtime to cover absences and sickness.
