About the Position

Become a vital member of our team as a Safety and Security Specialist, where you will be instrumental in safeguarding individuals and assets within your designated area. As a keen observer, your responsibilities will include documenting activities and incidents at the client location, utilizing equipment such as detection wands and metal detectors. Your commitment to service improvement and continuous training will be essential in fostering a secure environment.

This role entails:

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday

42 hours weekly

SIA license is mandatory

Possession of a Driving License or access to reliable transportation

Join Securitas and contribute to a vibrant team where your commitment to safety is recognized and crucial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prevent and deter unauthorized entry to the premises
  • Manage identification cards
  • Guide visitors throughout the facility
  • Oversee fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems as necessary
  • Conduct thorough external and internal security patrols as outlined in the Assignment Instructions
  • Ensure proper management of all equipment provided by the client and Securitas according to established protocols
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and records, issue visitor/contractor passes, and handle lost property in line with the Assignment Instructions
Required Qualifications
  • SIA Licence
  • Preferred experience in a corporate setting
  • Access to a vehicle or reliable transport links
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Security sector as a Security Officer is preferred
  • Must possess a 5-year verifiable history
  • Ability to embody and uphold the core values of Securitas: Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
