Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Safety and Security Specialist to join our team, playing a vital role in safeguarding individuals and assets within your designated area. As a proactive observer, you will document activities and incidents at the site, utilizing equipment such as metal detectors and security wands. Your commitment to service improvement and continuous training will be essential in fostering a secure environment.

This role entails:

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday

42 hours weekly

Valid SIA license mandatory

Driving License or reliable transportation options

Become a part of Securitas and contribute to a dynamic team where your commitment to safety is recognized and valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prevent and discourage unauthorized access to the premises
  • Manage identification cards
  • Guide visitors throughout the site
  • Oversee fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as necessary
  • Conduct thorough external and internal security patrols as outlined in the Assignment Instructions
  • Ensure proper management of all equipment provided by the client and Securitas in accordance with established protocols
  • Maintain logbooks and records, issue visitor/contractor passes, and handle lost property as per the Assignment Instructions
Required Qualifications
  • SIA Licence
  • Preferred experience in a corporate setting
  • Access to a vehicle or reliable transport
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Security sector as a Security Officer is preferred
  • Must possess a 5-year verifiable history
