We are seeking an experienced and skilled Care Home Manager to lead our team and ensure the continued delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents, in line with Gold Care Homes' values and standards.
- Build and maintain occupancy through effective marketing and business development strategies.
- Recruit, train, and retain a professional and experienced staff team, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide exceptional care.
- Comply with regulatory requirements, including those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and ensure that the care home operates within a framework of good governance and operational policies and procedures.
- Manage the care home's finances effectively, working within a set budget to ensure the long-term sustainability of the business.
- Promote marketing ideas to grow the reputation of the care home and attract new residents.
Requirements
- A proven track record in successful care home management, backed up by a qualification such as a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care.
- Compassionate yet assertive leadership style, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, managing and leading large staffing teams to meet the needs of residents and the care home.
- Diploma level 5 in Health and Social Care.
- Registered Nurse Certification is desirable but not essential.
