Exciting Opportunity in Freight Forwarding

We are seeking a highly skilled Import Clerk to join our dynamic team at ALS Recruiting Solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global Freight Forwarder who is well-established in the UK and recognized internationally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing quotes and job costing
  • Liaising with overseas partners and offices
  • Creating job files on our in-house system
  • Liaising with customers for clearance instructions
  • Completing customs clearance
  • Updating customers throughout the process
  • Organizing and arranging airline and shipping line collection and delivery
  • Costing and invoicing, and arranging payment where necessary
  • Conversing with airlines, shipping lines, agents, and hauliers to ensure a smooth process
  • Providing exceptional customer service
