Position Overview: The Centre for Human-Inspired Artificial Intelligence (CHIA) is looking for a dedicated Teaching Associate to support the educational initiatives of our innovative MPhil program focused on Human-Inspired AI. The selected candidate will play a vital role in course design, instruction, and assessment under the guidance of experienced faculty members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with faculty to develop and enhance course materials.
  • Engage in teaching and evaluating students' performance.
  • Monitor student progress and wellbeing, providing necessary support.
  • Assist with administrative tasks relevant to the role.

Qualifications: We invite applications from individuals holding a PhD who possess expertise in areas pertinent to human-inspired artificial intelligence. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in technical domains such as machine learning, human-computer interaction, computer vision, language processing, robotics, or related fields.
