Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our team as an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Human-Computer Interaction. The successful candidate will contribute to our research and teaching in the area of Human-Computer Interaction, with a focus on advancing the field through innovative research and teaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in Human-Computer Interaction, with a focus on advancing the field through innovative research and teaching.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Human-Computer Interaction, including interaction design and theoretical fundamentals of HCI.
  • Develop and lead research projects in Human-Computer Interaction, with a focus on interdisciplinary approaches and collaboration with industry partners.
  • Supervise research students at the Masters and PhD level, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their research goals.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and teaching materials in Human-Computer Interaction, ensuring that our courses are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of industry and society.
Requirements
  • PhD in Human-Computer Interaction or a related field.
  • Proven track record of research and teaching in Human-Computer Interaction, with a focus on interdisciplinary approaches and collaboration with industry partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to develop and lead research projects, with a focus on innovative and interdisciplinary approaches.
  • Experience of supervising research students, with a focus on providing guidance and support to help them achieve their research goals.
