This role is responsible for end-to-end supplier management, from sourcing to contracting and operation. You'll work across the business to create best-in-class partnerships and cost-effective solutions that drive growth and value for the company and our customers.
To achieve this, we need to attract diverse talent to the team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused Procurement Manager to join us at The Very Group.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement effective sourcing and procurement strategies by working with budget holders and colleagues to agree specifications for goods and services.
- Lead the supplier sourcing and procurement process at all levels, building business cases that consider third-party costs and benefits.
- Define technical contract requirements and work with the Legal team to draft complex agreements.
- Develop and implement collaborative and controlled mid-to-high value commercial supplier management partnerships.
- Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) professional certification.
- Demonstrable experience in a professional procurement and supplier management function.
- Technology, Financial Services, Fulfilment, Logistics, or Marketing services procurement and supplier management experience.
- Ability to work in an agile, cross-functional environment.
- Ability to work with the Legal team to define technical requirements and negotiate agreements.
