Job Title: Head of Fish Procurement

Princes Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Fish Procurement to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for ensuring the procurement of Frozen Fish at the lowest cost for our Mauritian processing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure Frozen Fish (primarily Tuna) at the lowest cost for the quantity, quality, species, and delivery requirements of our Company's Mauritian processing operations.
  • Maximise the utilisation at best cost of our PTM logistical operations, especially cold store provision and in-bound logistics operations.
  • Deliver sustainable and ethical sourcing policies, focusing on and supporting our ESG Team and objectives, and in conjunction with ISSF to help drive change within the industry.
  • Manage all round frozen tuna purchasing requirements, including strategic purchasing decisions and targeted raw material stock holdings as set out in our Company budget.
  • Support wider Commercial Teams in achieving their objectives.
Requirements:
  • Senior level procurement experience in the seafood industry.
  • International supply chain and/or operations expertise.
  • Thorough understanding of procurement processes and frameworks.
  • Ability to work autonomously but collaborate closely with key personnel in our PTM local management team.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP analytics & reporting.
  • Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas.
