About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our housing development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of project works, including the management of sub-contractors and the monitoring of contractor attendance and progress.
- Ensure that all site paperwork is maintained and that the site is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Work closely with the project surveyor to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Participate in safety initiatives and ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with the company's safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Scaffold inspection qualification.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in construction project delivery.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work on any project secured by the business within a reasonable locality.
