Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Randstad Construction and Property. As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our traditional build housing schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the construction site
  • Ensure that sub-contractors and trades staff are working in line with the programme and targets
  • Organize all trades and labour, including sub-contractors
  • Conduct NHBC stage inspections and snagging/re-snagging
  • Provide clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
  • Ensure the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
  • Drive through quality at every stage of the construction process
  • Ensure health and safety is followed and adhered to
  • Take responsibility for self-development and the development of others
  • Ensure any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
Requirements:
  • Assistant Site Management experience on traditional build housing schemes
  • Experience of working with HA would be an advantage
  • Trade background, whilst being a supervisor would be an advantage
  • Willing to take on additional duties and training offered by the company
