Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Positive Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Home Group. As a Positive Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to our customers with complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised support to customers with complex needs, promoting independence and social inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to develop and implement person-centred support plans.
  • Monitor and report any changes in customer's mental and physical health, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a complex care setting, with a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • A patient and calm approach, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support principles and practices, with a commitment to delivering person-centred care.
