The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Decisioning Scientist to join our newly formed Data and Analytics team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in transforming the way we communicate with our customers, gaining a deeper understanding of their relationships with us, and using insight and analytics to design new products and propositions that support our customers and help them grow their wealth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help deliver a data-driven omni-channel communication strategy that delivers systemic comms to the right customers at the right time to convert more prospects, cross-sell, and better retain our customers.
  • Build timely triggers based on indicators of customer need.
  • Utilize our data science capability to predict likelihood to convert.
  • Create insight to inform messaging and how we segment our customers.
  • Measure the incremental impact of our customer communications.
  • Help deliver programmes of test and learn across customer communications, set up to be measurable.
  • Take technical information and translate it effectively into comprehensive, relevant, and useful presentation/communication.

  • Proven experience in Decisioning Science, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment and/or within Financial Services.
  • Evidence of having delivered programmes of omni-channel customer contact to generate income.
  • Evidence of having applied data science modelling techniques to improve customer engagement.
  • Experience in the following or similar: SQL and Python programming languages, Multichannel communications platforms, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Big Query, Power BI, and working in a Public Cloud environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management; the ability to consult and provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative.
