About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition and Operations Specialist to join our team. As a crucial member of our organization, you will work closely with our VP of Operations to deliver on the full spectrum of our people and talent strategy. This role offers a thrilling blend of responsibilities, with approximately 60% focused on talent acquisition and 40% on broader people operations.
Talent Acquisition (60%):- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, with a focus on tech roles (software engineers, data scientists, etc.).
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in the tech industry.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from application to onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve our recruitment process and reduce time-to-hire.
- Support the development and implementation of people-focused initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our people processes, including performance management, employee onboarding, and offboarding.
- Assist in fostering a positive and inclusive company culture that aligns with our values and mission.
- Work closely with the VP of Operations to identify and address people-related challenges and opportunities.
- Design and deliver training programs for new hiring managers and people managers, equipping them with the skills to succeed.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who has:
- Hands-on experience in a similar role within a startup environment, with a proven ability to make a significant impact on people and talent functions.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
- You excel at managing multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You have strong skills in stakeholder management, with the ability to build relationships, manage expectations, and navigate complex organisational dynamics.
- Expertise in handling complex, sensitive situations with confidentiality and sound judgment.
- Driven by mission and impact, with a passion for contributing to a purpose-driven organisation.

The hiring process will consist of the following stages:
- Stage 1: Recruiter Screen with Bev, Talent Partner
- Stage 2: Take-home task
- Stage 3: Hour-long session with Channy, VP of Operations, who you will be reporting into
- Stage 4: Culture interview with our co-founders Jamie, CEO and Dennis, CTO
We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, based on skills and experience. Additionally, we offer:
