Detail2Recruitment is seeking an experienced Ocean Import Coordinator to join a global business offering multimodal logistics solutions to various industries. This role presents a chance to work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for career growth and development.

About the Role

  • As an Ocean Import Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling all import operations for ocean, including completing relevant import documentation and customs entries.
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, providing regular updates on costs, opportunities, and contract performance.
  • Experience in ocean import working for a freight forwarder is essential, along with a sound understanding of freight forwarding operations and logistics capabilities for ocean import.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels are required.
  • You will also have experience with FCL & LCL, handling ocean bookings into the UK, and managing reports to provide clients with regular updates.
  • Import documentation experience and customs clearance via CDS would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all import operations for ocean.
  • Complete all relevant import documentation, including customs entries.
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external clients.
  • Manage reports and provide clients with regular updates on costs, opportunities, and contract performance.
