Job Summary

EnerSys is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and supplies across our manufacturing, test, and business departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
    • Ensure accurate and timely receipt of inventory against purchase orders using our MRP system (Fourthshift)
    • Manage inventory levels, including stock parts, consumables, and bonded materials
    • Perform annual stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Coordinate with procurement teams to obtain quotes and raise purchase requests for stock and consumable items
    • Manage the control of ground support equipment, including assembly, vibration, and TVac plates
  • Warehouse Operations
    • Ensure the health and safety of all personnel within the warehouse area, including leading risk assessments and safety protocol adherence
    • Manage the receipt and inspection of incoming orders, including release of inspection paperwork
    • Kit out parts against project-specific BoM's and kit lists, maintaining full traceability
  • Customer Service
    • Assist in the packing and dispatch of finished goods in accordance with relevant ADR guidelines for transport of dangerous goods
    • Provide internal support to all departments as required

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Driving license preferred
    • Forklift license (not essential)
    • Proficient skills with MS Office/Office 365 suite of programs
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Excellent people skills and ability to work as a team player
    • Target, output, and objective-driven
    • Flexible and adaptable to meet demanding business needs
    • Able to use initiative with good problem-solving and analytical skills
