Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Audio Account Director to join our National Advertisement team at Bauer Media Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding key media agency partners to invest in our market-leading audio brands and audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue by selling creative solutions to briefs, proactively pitching relevant opportunities, and boosting digital audio revenues through Octave, including effective airtime trading and influencing spending beyond deal parameters.
  • Drive demand for radio airtime, digital audio via Octave, and Sponsorship & Promotion revenues, while also promoting cross-platform partnerships across Bauer's publishing and event platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with Client Leads and Creative Strategists to effectively implement Customer Strategies and the Adventure Process.
  • Lead and manage relationships within OMD, focusing on Account Managers and Directors as per the Customer Strategies.
  • Promote Bauer's audio brands through presentations, education sessions, and other engagement activities, collaborating with the Audio Group Head, Group Business Director, Client Leads, and Commercial Director.
  • Communicate new audio innovations and creative opportunities effectively to OMD personnel and Publicis partnership teams.
  • Respond to and prioritize incoming creative partnership and S&P briefs, ensuring alignment with the Creative Partnerships Process and accurate CRM tracking.
  • Assist with reporting, ensuring S&P contracts are administered accurately, keeping Customer Strategies updated, and liaising with the Head of Digital for forecasts and CRM management.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with tier 1 media agencies, ideally in audio, with a strong network of relationships with AV and partnership teams, preferably within Publicis.
  • Proven consultative sales skills with a track record in selling media channels, trading airtime, and closing significant creative partnership deals.
  • Experience in winning large, complex radio-led sponsorship and promotion campaigns.
  • Proven influencing skills with experience working with radio programming and digital teams.
  • Firm understanding of rival media channels and Bauer Media's radio and digital audio brands, with advanced skills in CRM, Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
