We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruitment and Compliance Coordinator to join our team at Sonderwell. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance standards are met, while also supporting the wider team in attracting and selecting top talent.
Key Responsibilities- Initial Candidate Contact: You will be the first point of contact for new candidates, providing a responsive service and working towards a target of first contact within 24 hours of receiving an application or expression of interest.
- Candidate Screening and Progression: You will telephone screen candidates and progress suitable candidates through the selection stages, including conducting formal interviews, documenting outcomes, and providing candidate feedback.
- Applicant Tracking and Reporting: You will use our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track and manage the process of applications, ensuring all contact is documented and providing reports as required.
- Compliance and Regulatory Guidelines: You will ensure that all CQC and regulatory guidelines for safer recruitment are adhered to, including conducting referencing checks, right to work, and following up on gaps in employment history and non-compliant references.
- DBS Checks and Compliance: You will obtain compliant documents to submit enhanced DBS checks on behalf of the candidate, review the outcome, and work closely with the Registered Manager to complete additional forms and risk assessments where needed.
- Induction and Training: You will participate in the delivery of the induction to new employees and plan and book all new employees onto necessary training to ensure they are compliant to work for the business.
- Employee Compliance and Training: You will plan and book all existing employees onto necessary and recommended training and repeat training as required to ensure all employees remain compliant with minimum and preferred training requirements.
- Safe Employment Standards: You will plan and make arrangements for all employees to remain compliant with safe employment standards, including liaising with existing employees to obtain documentation and complete Share Code checks as requested.
We are looking for someone with recruitment experience, gained in agency or in-house, who can blend their administrative skills with the compliance element of the role. You will enjoy engaging with candidates, providing a positive experience, and understand the importance of ensuring an efficient compliance process.
