Senior Specialist Environmental Health Expert

Abbott is a global leader in healthcare, and we're seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Environmental Health and Safety team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and conduct EHS training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work safely.
- Interface with employees and departments to address safety, transportation, and environmental concerns.
- Assist with site Emergency Response Team and investigate accidents to develop corrections.
- Initiate and submit safety and environmental reports to management, Division, Corporate, and regulatory agencies.
- Complete EHS projects as assigned and maintain overall site-wide employee health and safety responsibilities and accountability.
We're looking for a proactive individual with excellent communication and time management skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You'll need to be comfortable leading and influencing others, and have a passion for doing work that improves the quality of people's lives.
