Senior Environmental Health Specialist

Publica is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead our Environmental Health team in West Oxfordshire, Cotswold, and Forest of Dean Districts. As a Senior Environmental Health Officer, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and leadership in the areas of Private Sector Housing, Nuisance/Anti-Social Behaviour, and Public Health.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career and make a real difference in the community. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality services and support the residents and businesses of our districts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Environmental Health team in West Oxfordshire, Cotswold, and Forest of Dean Districts
- Providing expert guidance and leadership in Private Sector Housing, Nuisance/Anti-Social Behaviour, and Public Health
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes
- Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals
We are looking for an individual with a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and a track record of excellence in service delivery. You will need to be able to remain calm and confident when dealing with challenging customers and environments, and be able to resolve complex issues by negotiation.
