Are you interested in being part of a dedicated team of support professionals and Occupational Therapists, ensuring that reablement staff effectively implement reablement strategies that enhance care and support within the community? This position may be the right fit for you.

Norfolk First Support provides essential services to adults in their residences for a duration of up to six weeks, aiding them in regaining skills that may have diminished due to illness or hospital stays. The primary goal is to help them restore their independence while also assessing any ongoing assistance that may be required.

Norfolk First Support is integrated within the broader Norfolk First Response Service, which encompasses Swift Response and Accommodation-Based Reablement units.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Operational Management team for Norfolk First Support, specifically concentrating on overseeing a team of Support Workers. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of Reablement Assistant Practitioners and Reablement Support Workers, providing daily support, guidance, and regular supervision/team meetings to ensure optimal resource utilization for delivering high-quality services.

You will collaborate with other professionals, leveraging voluntary and community services as necessary to ensure the highest standard of care for individuals and their caregivers.

Your role will involve liaising with Registered Service Managers, Reablement Assistant Practitioners, and fellow Operational Managers regarding matters related to the provision of reablement support.

Additionally, you will oversee electronic staffing and scheduling systems to guarantee the efficient operation of the service.

Candidates should possess experience in working with individuals and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with the public. The capacity to exercise sound judgment and initiative, along with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks, is essential.
