About the Role

M Group Services is a leading provider of essential infrastructure services to clients across various sectors, including energy, water, and rail. We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs and contribute to a sustainable future.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Contract Delivery Manager to join our growing Energy Business Unit. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing the delivery of calibration services to our valued clients across the Southern and Midlands regions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy sector, fostering strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Oversee the delivery of contracts, ensuring adherence to performance targets, resource allocation, health and safety protocols, quality standards, and profitability objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless contract execution and client satisfaction.
  • Support the preparation of tender documents for new business opportunities within the Energy Business Unit.
  • Cultivate positive and long-lasting relationships with clients based on trust, transparency, and mutual benefit.
  • Develop site-specific policies and operational procedures that align with company values and client requirements.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment, implementing effective training strategies, and promoting employee retention.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide comprehensive monthly reports to clients, highlighting compliance with contract terms, identifying potential issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Champion a culture of safety by implementing robust management practices, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Manage contract budgets effectively, maximizing value for money across the business unit.
  • Conduct thorough accident investigations within company and client timeframes, reporting findings to line managers and the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Manager.
  • Ensure a proactive approach to health and safety requirements, providing employees with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), promoting its proper use, and maintaining it in good condition.
  • Provide regular updates on profit and loss (P&L) performance, taking full accountability for achieving budget targets and actively recovering work-in-progress (WIP) within agreed timeframes.
  • Prepare risk assessments and method statements as required.
