SEN Cover Supervisor Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated SEN Cover Supervisor to join our team at Academics. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our educational setting, providing support to students with special educational needs and working collaboratively with teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise classes during teacher absences, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behavior, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Support students in understanding and completing assigned tasks, providing individualized guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure seamless lesson transitions and effective communication.
- Provide constructive feedback to teachers on student progress and behavior during their absence.
- Assist with other duties as required, such as exam invigilation or supporting small group work.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of TEACCH, PECS, MAKATON, Intensive Interaction, and Attention Autism methodologies. Your experience in working with students with moderate learning difficulties and additional mental health needs will be invaluable in this position.
