We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at Serenity Schools Group. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for covering absent teachers and providing support to students in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students with Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Use effective teaching methods to engage students and promote learning
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Use Makaton, TEACCH, and PECS to support students with communication needs
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members
Requirements
  • Experience of teaching pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties and SEN
  • Excellent teaching methods and high expectations of self and students
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Passion and commitment to inclusive education
