We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Cover Supervisor to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain on task with the work set by the teacher.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise classes during teacher absences and ensure students remain on task with the work set by the teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Support students in understanding and completing the work provided.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other cover supervisors to ensure smooth lesson transitions.
- Provide feedback to teachers about the progress and behavior of students during their absence.
- Assist with other duties as required by the school, such as exam invigilation or supporting small group work.
- Experience of teaching pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties.
- Experience of working in an SEN environment.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other cover supervisors.
