About the Role

As a Business Development Manager at SGS UK Limited, you will play a crucial role in driving growth in our testing, inspection, and certification services. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities within the natural resources sector, focusing on testing, inspection, and certification services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to identify new business opportunities within the natural resources sector, covering agricultural, mining, oil, gas, chemical analysis, biomass, and fertiliser.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry leaders, and decision-makers.
  • Drive business development efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets through new client acquisition and growth of existing accounts.
  • Conduct detailed market research to understand industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant experience in a highly technical B2B environment, a strong sales focus, and a drive to succeed in identifying and securing new business. You will also need to have a full clean driving license for use in the UK.
