About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Business Assurance Digital Trust division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and securing new partnerships to drive growth and revenue for our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Digital Trust sector
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales and revenue
  • Create compelling business cases to encourage customers to place work with SGS
  • Use a variety of methods such as calling, emails, and attending business events to generate new business
  • Meet strategic and budgetary goals for new business revenue
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote SGS services across businesses and services

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Technical B2B sales environment
  • Full driving license for use in the UK
  • Strong sales background with a focus on IT, Data, and Auditing services
  • Ability to sell a service as opposed to a product
  • Meeting with customers and presenting effectively with a history of closing sales
