We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bid Coordinator to join our Construction Midlands team based in either Birmingham or Nottingham.

As a Senior Bid Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting first-stage tenders and preparing high-quality bids that delight our customers.

Our team is committed to truly understanding our customers' needs and developing sustainable solutions that are clearly articulated in customer-focused, attractive submissions.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual who can demonstrate the following capabilities:

Key Responsibilities
  • Support in assembling the team required for the Proposal, who will come from other departments and outside the business.
  • Support in agreeing individual roles and responsibilities.
  • Check progress and support bid team members.
  • Ensure all written content in our bids is clear and compelling.
  • Manage a varied workload with multiple conflicting deadlines.
  • Understand and include customer-focused sales messages and share with bid authors.
  • Identify risks and opportunities.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders across the Willmott Dixon business.
Requirements
  • Experience in a Bid writer role or in a role displaying significant written skills eg PR/journalism.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Understanding of the bid process across any sector or industry.
