About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious leader to join our Programme and Project Services (PPS) Team in the Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Ireland (SNIIP) region, as Head of Healthcare, to drive our operations and expansion within the Healthcare Sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify Regional Sector Growth Markets
    • Align with national strategy to drive growth and expansion in the Healthcare Sector.
  • Provide Regional Market Insights
    • Deliver regular market insights to inform sector implementation and drive business growth.
  • Draft and Deliver Regional Sector Plans
    • Work with internal service and sector leads to identify strategic targets and grow market share in the sector.
    • Secure work with new clients and maximize opportunities with existing clients.
  • Agree and Deliver on Financial Targets
    • Deliver on revenue, profit, work winning, and headcount growth targets for the sector and business.
  • Champion AtkinsRéalis Brand
    • Drive external profile for regional sector and deliver thought leadership.
  • Act on Client Feedback
    • Act on outcomes of client account feedback in sector.
  • Participate in Sector Bids
    • Active participation in sector bids and leading bids for regional sector bids.
  • Be the Face for AtkinsRéalis
    • Be the face for AtkinsRéalis in the Healthcare sector across the region.
  • Lead Business Development
    • Lead on business development activities and support L&D to upskill our rising stars.
  • Collaborate with Sector and Business Leaders
    • Collaborate with all other Sector and Business Leaders to share market intelligence and maximize opportunities across our complete client base and service offering.
  • Set Service Delivery Standards
    • Set and maintain excellent service delivery standards and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Share Best Practice
    • Share best practice across all accounts, projects, and programmes in the sector to maximize the benefit to our clients.
  • Ensure Marketing Collateral
    • Ensure we have the highest quality marketing collateral to support client engagement activities in the sector.
  • Engage with Other Offices and Sectors
    • Engage with all other offices, sectors, and the wider AtkinsRéalis business to provide innovative solutions to maximize our competitive advantage.
  • Head Up Strategic Accounts
    • Utilize your existing network in the sector to head up a number of strategic accounts to help drive growth and increase market share.
What We're Looking For
  • Possess an Extensive Network and Knowledge
    • Possess an extensive network and knowledge of the Healthcare sector.
  • Successful Track Record of Leading Major Pursuits
    • Successful track record of leading major pursuits for national clients with large property portfolios and capital programmes.
  • Proven Experience in a Senior Level Role
    • Proven experience in a senior level role running a large team of multi-discipline consultants.
  • Excellent Leadership Skills
    • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire people.
  • Detailed Knowledge of Rivals
    • Detailed knowledge of our rivals, understand our market differentiators and help to shape them going forward.
  • Strategic Insight and Focus
    • Providing a strategic insight and ability to focus our business to take full advantage of the Healthcare market.
  • Member of RICS or Similar Qualification
    • Member of RICS, or similar qualification.
