Service Desk Team Leader

Ascent People Careers is seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Team Leader to join our team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Service Desk Analyst or a Service Desk Technician/Engineer looking to step into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Service Desk Manager in supervising the Service Desk staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the team.
- Handle the IT support queue and provide timely assistance to customers.
- Collaborate with IT Support/Service Desk technicians to resolve incidents and service requests.
- Monitor and manage breached SLAs to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Support the Service Desk Manager in defining and distributing metrics to stakeholders.
- Provide cover for the Service Desk Manager during their absence.
- Track performance against SLAs and escalate issues to the Service Desk Manager as needed.
- Ensure the on-call rota is up-to-date and provides adequate support outside of working hours.
- Contribute to the Major Incident process and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Participate in Problem Management and Change Management processes to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
