Clinical Health Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Health Psychologist to join our Macmillan Psycho-oncology Service at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a specialist psychology service to cancer and palliative care patients, including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a highly specialist psychology service to cancer and palliative care patients, including specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes.
- Contribute to enabling other staff, service users, and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe and informed environment.
- Initiate and collaborate in service evaluation, audit, and research.
- Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and training for MDT staff and other psychological practitioners.

Requirements- Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS. Eligible for BPS Chartered Psychology Status and registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience of working within clinical health psychology services, including applying clinical or counselling psychology in culturally diverse contexts.
- Experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care and treatment, both as a professionally qualified care co-ordinator and also within the context of a multi-disciplinary care plan.
- Experience of teaching, training, and/or professional and clinical supervision.
