About the Role

We Are With You is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized support plans
  • Provide one-to-one and group support sessions to promote recovery and well-being
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of client progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • SVQ level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare or equivalent
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or meet registration requirements
  • Satisfactory enhanced PVG check
  • Experience working in a health, social care, or related setting
  • Knowledge of delivering evidence-based interventions
  • Experience delivering group work in outreach and community settings
  • Knowledge of health and safety, including assessing clients in high-risk situations
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to prioritize work
  • Comfortable using IT and digital media
  • Flexibility with working hours and willingness to support other locations when needed
