Job Title: Lead Engineer for Fluid Systems
Location: Flexible working arrangements available

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development of innovative engineering solutions that address complex cross-functional requirements.
- Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers to define and refine equipment and component specifications that meet rigorous product demands.
- Collaborate directly with clients to articulate requirements and acceptance criteria based on operational scenarios and design considerations.
- Lead the execution and evaluation of engineering calculations and analyses to inform design decisions and validate system performance.
- Compile comprehensive design evidence to support a safe and effective design, fostering client confidence in the proposed solutions.
- Coordinate and engage a diverse stakeholder network to tackle intricate engineering challenges and make informed engineering choices.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related scientific disciplines.
- Chartered Engineer status with a recognized engineering institution.
- Proven experience in Fluid Systems Design.
- Proficient in creating design documentation and effectively presenting to clients and broader audiences.
- Expertise in resolving complex engineering calculations.

About the Mechanical Engineering Team:
The Mechanical Engineering team is dedicated to the design and development of critical Mechanical Platform Systems that provide essential ship services and support crew life for future generations of Nuclear Submarines. You will play a pivotal role in the SSN AUKUS and upcoming submarine programs, contributing to the design and development of various vital systems.
